Yang Jie joined the Economics faculty in the fall of 2024. She teaches Corporate Finance.
Prior to joining Lafayette College, Professor Jie earned a Ph.D. in Finance from the University of Utah (2024), a M.S. in Business Analytics from UT-Dallas (2018), a M.S. in Management Science from Southern Methodist University (2015), and a B.A. in English from Northwestern Polytechnical University in China (2014).
Professor Jie’s research explores topics related to finance, corporate finance and governance, ESG, and executive compensation, and she has presented her work at several major international conferences.
