Professor Bukics joined the department in 1980 after several years in the business world as an external auditor with Deloitte and Touche (then Deloitte Haskins and Sells) She also worked as an internal auditor for a large public utility company thus rounding out perspective as both an internal and external auditor of companies large and small.
While at Lafayette, she has published five books on accounting and finance-related topics as well as a wide range of articles targeted to the professionals of accounting and auditing.
